Water Features

Running water always creates a cool, calming and natural feel to a space. We install contemporary water features, natural feeling rockery features and everything in between.

All Aspects Covered

Materials

For a pond or water feature the key aspect is a durable liner / reservoir. We always ensure that we use good quality materials for water containing purposes.

Clean and tidy

Larger ponds usually require a deep excavation and can take a while to fill. We always fence off any dangerous excavations ad ensure wildlife can escape.

Positioning

Wildlife ponds and feature ponds need different amounts of direct sunlight and the positioning of the pond and planting can make a big difference. We’re always happy to help and advise to ensure you get the most out of your pond.

Most ponds will take a little while to really settle in. Oxygenating plants, margin plants and rocks take a while to grow, weather and settle to their new environments.

In most cases the chlorine leave tap water within 24 hours, but to ensure safety of fish and other wildlife is best to leave the water for a couple of weeks to adjust.

Ponds are prone to a lot of agile in the sunnier months, but with the right plants and filters the water can be kept clear with minimal disturbance. It is essential to keep any pump and filters maintained but a lot of these are straight forward.
